"Fortnight" March 19,2020-present, a collection of 14" x 14" oil on panel. Dimension variable.
"Fortnight" is an ongoing project begun nineteen days into my Covid-19 quarantine. Each day I attempt to capture the quality and color of the sky as observed from my studio. A pragmatic work about data collection and weather patterns, it is also a subjective daily journal of my perception of color and the fleeting conditions of light and atmosphere.

Amy Pryor utilizes a variety of media to create collages, paintings, sculptures, and installations. She often incorporates data, maps, and imagery from aerial and astral photographs into works that explore the intersections of commerce, culture, and landscape. Pryor's work has been featured at numerous cultural institutions, including the Bronx Museum of Art, Bronx River Arts Center, Casita Maria Center for the Arts and Education, Frans Masereel Centrum, the Islip Museum, New Haven Museum, 92Y TriBeCa, No Longer Empty, and Wave Hill. Pryor lives and works in The Bronx.
